Thinking Deeply about AI for Schools: Alpha School
Good Morning!
This week I’m excited to share something new from TDaPE: Thinking Deeply about AI for Schools. Landing on the first Wednesday of each English school term, this new series brings together Neil Almond and James Radburn to tackle the biggest questions schools face about artificial intelligence in a time of relentless change and pressure on the system.
In the pilot episode, Neil and James take a hard look at Alpha School, the much-discussed AI-powered private school. Is it a passing fad, clever marketing, or an early signal of a very different future for education?
Listen in to find out what it might mean for schools like yours, and add your voice to the conversation in the comments wherever you choose to listen.

If you are listening in a jurisdiction with mandatory PD hours, certificates are available for listening to TDaPE episodes. For every form completed (click here) we’ll send a certificate to acknowledge your commitment to your continued professional development.
Thank you to everyone who shared last week’s episode. Your support really does make a difference and helps more teachers find their way into the conversation. If you know someone who relishes thinking carefully about their professional development, feel free to send the link their way.
That’s all for this week. I’d love to hear what you think or any questions it raises for you – leave a comment wherever you listen, or simply hit reply to this email.
Until next time, thanks for listening.
