TDaPE London: What Do You Go To When Everything Looks Good?

Good Morning!

This week’s episode is a programme walk-through for TDaPE London, recorded with our hosts in Camden.

Lacey Cousins and Natalie Stevenson from the Hawley and Eleanor Palmer Primary partnership joined me to talk through the sessions they’re most excited about, and what makes a conference day genuinely worth giving up a Saturday for.

What I liked about this conversation is that it stays grounded. Not “everything is amazing”, but why certain sessions matter right now: assessment in the foundation subjects, decision-making under pressure, number sense, AI in the classroom, character education and parent partnership, continuous provision, early writing foundations, culture-setting, and the case for putting real problem solving back where it belongs.

If you’re coming, you’ll hear a few smart ways to plan your route. If you’re not, it’s still a good listen for the wider reminder: this job is hard, and sometimes being around thoughtful colleagues gives you energy rather than taking it.

As always, thank you for listening, and thank you to every speaker giving their time so we can raise money for the Velindre Cancer Centre.

That’s all for this week. Hopefully you can join us. Looking forward to Saturday!

Until next time — thanks for listening.
