Conceptual Clarity: A Conversation with Pete Mattock
Good Morning, TDaPE Massive.
This week on Thinking Deeply about Primary Education, Pete Mattock and I explored conceptual understanding and what it means for our teachers and students. Lots of overlap with the chat Stuart and I had last week, as well as previous episodes with Will McLoughlin and John Jackson and Emma Lindley-Thompson. I’ll try and create a few playlists with the whole collection together over the next week or so. Lots below to enjoy before then. Had a lot of fun talking to Pete about maths and I hope you will too…

TDaPE Conference: Cymru Speaker Proposals Closing Soon
The window for speaker proposals for TDaPE Cymru is still open. If you’re a teacher with something to share, then delivering a 40-minute workshop might be for you. The short proposal form can be found here. The window will remain open until the 25th of June - though we have very limited places left before we reach capacity.
If you’re keen to go but haven’t persuaded your Head Teacher/Business manager to get your ticket yet, now is the time.
